As a PLC Software Engineer, you will be part of our Controls department, working in multidisciplinary teams on exciting projects. In this role, you will provide both internal and external advice, apply the latest technologies, and use your creativity to translate technical challenges into practical and feasible solutions.
You will be responsible for designing and programming PLC systems, where you not only develop the software but also implement and commission it, both domestically and internationally. Additionally, you will work on motion systems, fine-tune control loops, and configure both large welding gantries and high-precision sensor technology on our robots.
Furthermore, you will design, program, and test safety systems, while also providing support in optimizing existing software.
Your responsibilities also include designing new systems, modifying existing ones, and drafting project functional specifications. Additionally, you will be involved in setting up network connections based on Ethernet.

We are looking for someone with a completed bachelor's degree (HBO) and preferably knowledge of (B&R) PLCs.
A few years of relevant experience in designing SFCs and programming PLCs is a plus, as well as experience with structured text programming.
Additionally, you are customer-oriented, have strong communication skills, and a clear affinity with (production) automation.
