Committed to your privacy
This policy describes how KRANENDONK processes personal data of (1) customers and prospects and (2) job applicants. It does not cover data of employees—see our HR manual for that.
1. Data we collect
1.1 Customers & prospects
- Identity & contact: name, title, gender, company, address, phone, e-mail
- Technical & usage: IP address, pages visited, form entries
- Commercial: order details, quotes, project specifications
- Source: directly from you (forms, e-mails, calls, business cards), your employer, public sources
1.2 Applicants
- Application details: CV, cover letter, interview notes
- Contact information: e-mail, phone
- Source: you OR recruiting partner (with consent)
2. How we use your data
2.1 Customers & prospects
- To communicate, negotiate and fulfill contracts
- To send relevant marketing information or event invitations
- To generate internal management reports
- To comply with legal obligations (e.g. tax retention)
- To pursue collection or legal actions if needed
2.2 Applicants
- To manage and evaluate your job application
- To communicate about interviews, offers and feedback
- With your permission, to contact you about future vacancies
3. Data sharing
We do not share personal data with third parties except:
- When legally required (e.g. court order)
- When necessary for service delivery (e.g. IT providers, shipping partners)
4. Data retention
- Customers & Prospects: stored only as long as necessary for contractual, legal or marketing purposes
- Applicants: stored up to four weeks after the process ends, or up to one year with your explicit consent for future openings
5. Data security
We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your data against loss, misuse and unauthorized access. We do not use profiling or automated decision-making tools.
6. Your rights
Under GDPR you have the right to:
- Access your personal data
- Rectify inaccuracies
- Erase data (“right to be forgotten”)
- Restrict processing
- Object to processing
