As an HRM Officer, my role is to provide support for both management and employees in handling personnel and organizational matters. A complete role with a lot of responsibilities!
This year, we are celebrating our 40th anniversary, which is a huge achievement and definitely a moment to be celebrated. The preparations for the celebration are in full swing, and from a business point of view, we are in a good flow.
What really stood out was the focus on the well-being of their employees and the positive company culture. With a variety of planned activities, fresh fruit, and sports opportunities, KRANENDONK values its workforce and creates a warm and welcoming atmosphere. It's evident that this is a company that cares about its employees and fosters a positive work environment.
Having a professional and easily understandable writing style in the job vacancy and a well-presented website made a good impression. It was easy to understand, even for someone with no background in the field. Their website had plenty of information about what they do, with helpful videos too.
I have not worked in this market before, but I am constantly growing my knowledge and learning new things every day. I've been introduced to terms like cutting lines, bevel cells, and pipe shops, which are everyday concepts at KRANENDONK but were completely new to me. I make an effort to observe the assembly hall and gain more knowledge, so I can better serve my colleagues with HR-related issues.
Optimization is one of my passions! I have taken several courses and trainings to continually focus on efficiency while maintaining the quality of the work. In the past I have achieved my LEAN Green belt and I am a professional SCRUM master. Both methodologies who will trigger you to think and act as efficiently as possible every day! These skills can be applied in my current work, ensuring a streamlined and effective approach to tasks and projects.
Spending time with friends and family, such as dancing the day away at a summer festival, is a source of relaxation and enjoyment. In addition, I have a love for sports, too. I attend CrossFit classes twice a week and a bootcamp class once a week. The bootcamp class, by the way, is with colleagues on Wednesday afternoon at KRANENDONK. This not only provides physical activity but also creates a fun and supportive environment for teamwork and bonding.
