Once again this year, KRANENDONK colleagues have come together to raise funds for the local food bank. What started several years ago as a small initiative has become a recurring tradition within the company in the weeks leading up to Christmas.
Every year, employees voluntarily contribute, with one shared goal: to support families in the Tiel region who could use a little extra help, especially during the holiday season.
Support where it matters most
Thanks to the donations collected, essential everyday products have been purchased for families who rely on the food bank. These are basic items such as food and household products, things many people take for granted, but which are always in high demand.
In the weeks leading up to Christmas, this support becomes even more important. The food bank sees increased pressure during this period, while the need among families remains high. By contributing, the initiative helps ensure that shelves remain stocked and support can continue.
To increase the impact of the initiative, KRANENDONK matched the amount raised by its employees, doubling the total donation. This made it possible to support even more families during the Christmas period and expand the range of essential products that could be purchased.
