The Block Welding Gantry is engineered for the heavy-duty demands of modern shipbuilding. It offers precise, automated welding of large steel assemblies, using CAD-driven robot paths and advanced collision avoidance. Whether dealing with thick plates, various weld joints, or complex block configurations — the system delivers consistent, high-quality welds with minimal manual intervention.
No programming needed during day to day operation
Every Block Welding Gantry is powered by RinasWeld, KRANENDONK’s intelligent software for automated welding. RinasWeld reads your 3D CAD model, detects all seam locations between double-hull blocks, and calculates accurate robot paths — even in confined areas. It generates a complete collision-free welding program and sends it to the gantry. Operators simply select the job on the touchscreen and start production, ensuring consistent welds and safe operation in even the most challenging environments.
