On-site, Hybrid
Tiel, Netherlands
What does your day look like?
During this internship, you will support the IT department in improving the digital workplace within our organization. You will contribute to identifying, analyzing, and resolving IT friction points that employees experience in their daily work.
You will work on real IT challenges, interact with colleagues across different teams, and help implement practical improvements that have a direct impact on the daily experience of end users. You will learn how IT issues arise, how to clearly define them, and how to collaborate with users and IT professionals to develop effective solutions.
Your work will follow three structured steps:
- You identify IT issues by analyzing IT surveys, reviewing documentation, and observing employees in their daily work to understand what goes wrong and the impact it has.
- You actively contribute ideas for practical solutions and discuss these with your supervisor, IT colleagues, and other departments.
- You validate proposed solutions with end users to ensure they actually improve their experience.
- You assist in implementing improvements, test whether everything works properly, and gather feedback from users.
What can you expect?
You will join a small, approachable IT team where you will work closely with your supervisor. There is plenty of room to learn, explore, and experiment. If you encounter challenges, your supervisor will actively support you.

What will you deliver?
By the end of your internship, you will have:
- An overview of the most important IT issues within the organization
- Practical, aligned solutions supported by end users
- A concise summary of the improvements realized during your internship
What are you bringing?
We are looking for a curious and communicative student who is interested in IT and motivated to improve the digital workplace.
You have:
- MBO/HBO level of thinking (preferably in IT or a related field)
- Interest in IT support, digital workplaces, and process improvement
- Strong communication skills
- A proactive and inquisitive mindset
- The ability to work in a structured and analytical way
Nice to have:
- Experience with Windows environments or Microsoft 365
- Affinity with IT support or user research
