All you need to know
The Panel Welding Gantry is a travelling gantry system equipped with two or more suspended 6-axis robots that can operate simultaneously. This setup ensures high uptime and impressive throughput. By using high quality components in combination KRANENDONK’s extensive support program, KRANENDONK is known for a high level of reliability and performance
Robust welding for large panels
The gantry moves on rails for both longitudinal and transverse motion. It’s engineered for low vibrations and wrist stability, enabling smaller, precise welds that minimize rework and reduce consumable use.
Designed for shipbuilding environments
Built to withstand rough, dusty shopfloor conditions. Industrial-grade components and protective covers ensure uptime and durability.
Supports both flat and curved panels
Designed to handle not only flat, cambered, or slightly warped panels, but also genuinely curved ones — ensuring a tight fit-up and reliable weld quality across a wide range of panel shapes.

Programming made simple
Every Panel Welding Gantry is powered by RinasWeld, KRANENDONK’s software for automatic robot programming. RinasWeld reads your 3D CAD model, detects all weld seams, calculates the correct torch angles, travel speeds, and stitch patterns, and generates complete, collision-free robot programs that are sent directly to the gantry. Operators select the job via touchscreen and start production — ensuring consistent weld quality, fast setup, and reliable results from the very first panel.
